Assistant Pastor Cedric R. Manson was saved at the age of 17; was licensed to preach in 1985 and ordained in 1986 at Temple Baptist Church under the ministry of the late Rev. Bernard J. Boyd. He is a former member of Manna Bible Baptist Church and served under the ministry of the late Pastor Joseph Brown. Minister Manson is a graduate of Arlington Bible College earning both a Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree and received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from New Hope Bible College in Virginia. Having embarked on 10 missionary trips to West Africa, specifically to Ghana, Nigeria and the Ivory Coast. Minister Manson helped to plant two churches in the towns of Tarkwa & Obuasi in Ghana West Africa. Currently, he is employed with The Department of Public Safety for the State of Maryland as a Correctional Case Manager Specialist at the Central Home Detention Unit. Minister Manson serves as the Assistant Pastor and Education/Youth Pastor at Pilgrim’s Way Bible Baptist Church, where Rev. Raymond L. Thornton is the Senior Pastor.
